a male came to our house offering handyman/irrigation services. offered to perform services, but needed money up front. no contract was signed. he was not able to provide proof of business license. some money was exchanged. the person left and several hours later returned and started digging up our landscape. worked briefly then asked for additional money. once he received the money, he left till following afternoon. same scenario….worked briefly and needed more money to continue. only this time he left with the third installment of money but never returned to complete the job. phone numbers given to us were not in service.
