This person/company used a variety of phone numbers to contact me within the past several days. They claim that they could lower my credit card interest rate, but needed my credit card information. The person sounded legitimate until some red flags were given. The representative was very rude and unprofessional about their tactics. This representative used profanity ("Shut the *** up", and hung up the phone) toward the end of the conversation as I told him several times that I was not interested. I spoke with this person before and they requested my card information such as if I had a Visa and amount of debt I owed. I did not give them my card number, which they wanted me to provide. They wanted me to listen to their information even after I explain to them that I had sought out another debt company to assist with my debt.
It sounded like an international company claiming to be capital One.
