Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
Received a priority envelope and mail with $2,450 cashier check and instructions to to deposit the check was in 48 hours then purchase Walmart specifically gift cards as a secret shopper. specific instructions not to try to cash the check but to deposit it into an active bank account and send pictures of the codes from the gift cards and a picture of the entire card via text messaging which is the only communication they have provided and then to wait for further instructions
