Type of a scam Online Purchase
the case your dreams website is nicely put together. it looks like a real shop, it is powered by shopify. there is no information on how to get a hold of anyone, the return address given is a residential apartment in florida. this information is only available after a purchase has been made. [email protected] is the only information given to contact anyone about anything. after i purchased a cell case, i right a way got notice of purchase through my email, with an invoice giving me an order number, but nothing else other than reiterating my address and payment information, plus the links about returns, purchase and privacy. i never got notice that they were sending my item, the invoice mentioned the item getting to me from 2-6 weeks. i waited six weeks and contacted [email protected] i never heard back. lucky me i paid through PayPal, and filed a problem. after six days i knew with certainty i was not getting contacted back. i went searching for information on the site. i discovered it had just been created on january this year(2019) and that the domain name was expiring on 1/13/2020. i found out the server used to put this site online is from canada. and that’s it. i know this person also has several pages on instagram–that was also a reason i thought the business was legitimate.
i’m wiser now, but i wish to see all these pages down, caseyourdreams.com and the instagram pages, if possible. i can’t imagine how much money he is actually stealing or will be stealing with the coming holidays.
