Type of a scam Home Improvement
A man by the name of Cesar C. came to my mother’s house posing as a roofer saying that he was sent to check the roof. Then he told my mom that several things were wrong with the roof and he told her to sign a form and said he was going to submit a claim to the insurance; on the form that he gave my mom to sign Cesar put his number under my mom’s name where she had signed. The adjuster stated that he called my mom to 956-408-8578 and a woman answered agreeing to schedule the appointment. The adjuster came to my mom’s house stating he received a call from my mom. When he showed up to the house on 2/21/20 my mom was confused as to why he was here.
I looked at the paperwork and it had Cesar’s number listed as my mom’s contact number which was 956-408-8578. When the adjuster tried calling that number while he was in our home and no one answered the phone. The adjuster stated he was going to bring this matter to his supervisor’s attention.
