Type of a scam Employment
I’m not sure if it is a true scam, but researching and reading as much as I have I’ll bet it is. I placed in an application on AngelList (I should have been more attentative here, I’ve never heard of this) for a work from home job. Everything seemed okay, the pay wasn’t too out there, they had requirements and experience needed. Everything became suspicious when I was emailed by *** *** of AngelList telling me that my resume had been reviewed and approved for an online interview. I was then supposed to email a *** *** (***@gmail.com) to set up an interview and discuss the position. I proceeded to do that, chose a date, and he informed me the interview will be given through Google Hangouts. I went back to reread through everything to determine what my next step was and realized that the initial email that was sent to me by ***, with *** speaking to me was signed by none other than ***. This very well might not be a scam but I’d rather be safe than sorry.
