Saw an add about Jennifer Aniston and her new business venture with a skin care line called Cellulage on Facebook and thought I’d treat myself to something for the holiday season. I was offered a sample and decided to give it a shot, something I’d never done before. There was no mention of being enrolled in an auto ship or any indication that I’d be charged $99.95 & $129.95 for the little sample after a few weeks. It was the Holliday season and and after new year’s I checked my accounts and saw 4 unknown charges from two different companies one called rapidrenue.com and the other Suncoast Enterprises. I tried calling the phone numbers associated with the but the were not valid. I was charged the $99.95 twice and $129.95 twice for a total of $459.80. I had no idea who these companies were and called my bank to report the charges, we assumed I had been a victim of fraud and cancelled the card and filed a dispute. Later the Disputes Department linked it to the sample I’d tried and let me know I need to settle the charges with the company. When I called they told me that my account had been closed and because I had filed a dispute I was no longer a costumer, they would not refund any or part of the charges and hung up on me. This happened three more times and I was shamed and belittled and told not only would I not get my money back from them that I would be charged by my bank for wasting their resources and hung up on again.

This was an expensive lesson in online scams.
