I responded to an add posted on the Planet Classifieds Ad about a French Bulldog puppy. I initiated the contact on June/22/2020 and received a response the same day. The seller posted the price as $800 for the puppy with all the documents/vaccines up to date. The delivery of the puppy is also included on the price. We agreed on a 50% deposit so the seller (Christine) can start the ownership paperwork transfer and delivery process. I provided my name, address, phone number, and paid $400 via PayPal. They insisted on using friends and family transaction so they get the funds immediately and transact the delivery right away. On June/25, Christine informed me that delivery of the puppy will be delayed because they are still finalizing the puppy’s registration and that there was a delay in PayPal activation. On June/26, Christine sent an email stating that they needed another $200 because the agency requires the puppy to be in a new crate for them to deliver. On June/26 I received an email from Trans Pacific ([email protected]) with the puppy’s information and delivery schedule of June/27. On June/27, I received another email from Trans Pacific stating that I need to pay insurance for $300 for them to be able to deliver. I emailed Christine and asked to provide the Trans Pacific direct business line and business website. After emails back and forth, I asked Christine to cancel the transaction and refund me back the money I paid. To date, I still do not have the puppy and I still get emails from Christine stating that she is getting Trans Pacific’s contact person. I have the full email conversation that I’m more than happy to provide ScamPulse.com to investigate and for documentation.
