Type of a scam Debt Collections

I received several phone calls from what appeared to be a local phone number. After many voicemails, I finally called the number back. They answer the phone in what sounds like a call center, identifying themselves as Clear View Mediation. They then went on to tell me about me debt (non existent) from 2004 ( it is 2020) and that their client is ready to take me to court and sue me for the debt as well as all legal expenses. I advised her that not only is this not my debt, but I just pulled my credit report (as a result of applying for a car loan, a new credit card and another loan). Truly a scam – but the scary thing was she had my full name, and the last 4 digits of my SSN. I don’t know how, but I did confirm that I was me, and am hoping that doesn’t give them further motivation. Please do not engage. Other than to report it to your State Attorney General, ScamPulse.com and the FTC.
