Type of a scam Online Purchase

On December, 22 2019 we purchased a bedside bassinet from CozeCenter.com. We originally saw their products on their business page on Facebook. That page however has since been deleted to suspicion of fraud/scam. Their entire social media presence has been removed since and that includes: Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest and their Google page. Their website is still up and they are still "selling" products. Shopify host their checkout page but is now investigating the claims against CozeCenter. We have also notified and reported this business to Google’s phishing and scam reporting center and to the FBI’s international website scam support.

We contact CozeCenter three times. The tracking number they provided never worked. They never provided a legitimate one, just a string of random numbers and letters. They responded back once on December 29th 2019, telling us that we should receive the item soon (in broken english). It’s now March 5th, 2020 and we have not heard from them since. We contacted our bank and requested an investigation. Wells Fargo investigated the company, tried reaching out to them via number/email/website contact and never received a response. They determined that the site is fraudulent and reversed our payment. We also found out that CozeCenter entered our credit card manually and that also raised red flags.

There are now more complaints being posted online from other customers who have yet to receive their products.
